A fair price is a formula, not a forecast
The fair price shown for a stock is the output of published valuation formulas applied to reported figures. It predicts nothing. Change one assumption — the growth rate, the discount rate, the sector multiple — and the number changes with it, which is a property of valuation rather than a defect of this page. A stock trading below its calculated fair price may be mispriced, or its earnings may be about to fall; the page shows the gap and cannot tell you which it is.
The data is old by design
A 13F portfolio is already out of date when it is published: managers have 45 days after the quarter closes, and they trade during those 45 days. A balance sheet is a snapshot of one day. Quotes are delayed. Every figure on the site carries the date it refers to, and that date is part of the number — reading it as current is the most common way to be misled by data that is entirely correct.
Accuracy
The data comes from filings made by companies and managers themselves, and from third-party market data. It can contain errors at the source, and the processing here can contain errors of its own. Nothing is independently verified. The site is provided as is, without warranty, and its operator is not liable for losses arising from its use.
