About
FindStockFast is a free tool for researching U.S. listed companies: screening them by fundamentals, following what large investors report holding, and watching what company insiders buy and sell.
Who runs this site
FindStockFast is built and maintained by Gabriel Zacarkim. I have been investing since 2016 and study programming as a hobby. The site began as a personal frustration: the things I wanted to look at side by side — fundamentals, what large managers report holding, and what company insiders are buying — were always scattered across different places. I built it for my own use, and then saw no reason to keep it to myself.
What the site does
Three things that are usually kept apart: a screener over roughly six thousand listed companies, the quarterly portfolios that large managers report to the SEC, and the trades that officers and directors file within two business days. Each stock page joins them — you see the multiples, which of the tracked managers hold the stock, and what they did with the position last quarter.
Where the data comes from
Everything published here is collected automatically from these sources. Nothing is estimated or filled in by hand.
- SEC — Form 13F
- Quarterly portfolios of institutional managers. Filed up to 45 days after the quarter ends.
- SEC — Form 4
- Trades by officers, directors and holders of more than 10% of a company. Filed within two business days.
- Nasdaq Trader
- The list of what is listed today, and on which exchange.
- Market data provider
- Prices, multiples, annual statements and dividend history, refreshed daily. Company descriptions come from Yahoo Finance.
What these numbers cannot tell you
These are limits of the filings themselves, not of this site. They apply to every service built on the same sources.
- A 13F portfolio is already out of date when it is published. Managers have 45 days after the quarter closes, and they trade during those 45 days.
- A 13F shows only U.S. listed equity positions. Short positions, bonds, cash, foreign stocks and most derivatives never appear — so a portfolio shown here is a slice of a manager’s book, not the whole of it.
- An insider sale is not always a decision. Many are executed automatically under a pre-scheduled 10b5-1 plan, which the site marks as such.
- Annual statements reach back four years, because that is what the free source publishes. Dividend history reaches further, because it is built from the payments themselves.
What this site is not
It is not investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Nobody involved is a registered investment adviser or broker. The site reports what public filings say; deciding what that means for your money is your work, and ideally your licensed adviser’s.
How the site pays for itself
It does not, yet. There is no charge, no account and no paywall. If advertising is introduced later it will be disclosed here and in the privacy policy, and it will never determine which stocks or investors the site shows.
