Insiders
Officers, directors and holders of more than 10% of a company must report every trade in its stock to the SEC within two business days. That is the freshest signal the filings offer — 13F holdings arrive up to 45 days after the quarter, these arrive in two.
Only open-market purchases and sales are listed. A Form 4 also records share grants, option exercises and shares withheld for taxes — compensation mechanics, not conviction, and they would drown out the signal. Sales marked as scheduled were arranged in advance under a 10b5-1 plan and say nothing about what the insider thinks today. The list covers the last 30 days, with no minimum trade size — the rankings apply a $50,000 floor and the home page a $1M one, because a count of people and a six-line headline need a filter that a full record does not.
